Shaft anodes

Our shaft anodes meet all standards as specified by Mil-Spec A-1800, DNV, NORSOK etc. Shaft anodes are available in "long" and "short models". AnodeFactorys shaft anodes are designed to create a perfect fit on the propeller shaft. Our shaft anodes can be supplied in Zinc, Magnesium and Aluminium.

Shaft anodes, also known as propeller shaft anodes, are a crucial component in protecting your vessel's propeller shaft from corrosion. These anodes are made from a sacrificial metal, usually zinc, which corrodes before the shaft does, thereby protecting it from the corrosive effects of saltwater and other elements. Maintaining and replacing your shaft anodes is critical for the lifespan and proper function of your vessel's propeller shaft. It is important to regularly check the anodes as they will eventually corrode completely and need to be replaced. Failing to do so can lead to costly repairs or replacements of the propeller shaft.
